The trip starts with a pick-up from the airport, port, or your Casablanca hotel. People recognize the city as Morocco’s economic center and largest metropolis. First, we will visit the Hassan II Mosque, Morocco’s largest mosque.
The city sits on the west coast, on a peninsula overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. There is free time for lunch. Then we explore the city and go to the magnificent Corniche of Casablanca. Stay overnight in a hotel.
Following breakfast, travel to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Visit famous landmarks such as the Hassan Tower, the Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the Oudaya Kasbah. Enjoy some free time for lunch before going north to Chefchaouen. Explore the Blue City’s lovely, blue-painted streets and alleys. Spend the night at your hotel in Chefchaouen.
Spend the morning traveling the lovely streets of Chefchaouen. Next, see the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site noted for its well-preserved mosaics and antique architecture. Continue to Meknes to witness the Bab Al-Mansour, Sahrij Souani Basin, Royal Stables, and Moulay Ismail Mausoleums. Travel to Fes for an overnight stay at your Riad/Hotel.
The fourth day of this 8-day journey from Casablanca will start with a guided tour by a local guide from Fes. It begins with a pickup from the Riad. After that, we plan the entire day to tour Fes’s highlights with a local guide. The city is Morocco’s cultural and religious center. It is one of the imperial cities.
First, we go to the Royal Palace gate to begin the day. Next is the medieval Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is in excellent condition. You will go to the entrance of the ancient Medina, known as Bab Boujloud (or the Blue Gate).
You will enter the medina to see the tanneries, the Najjarine Fountain, and the Medersa Bouanania.
Following that, we go from Medina to explore “the Mellah,” the Jewish neighborhood. We take a drive to an old fortification in the afternoon to get a broad perspective of Fes and the Medina. Return to your riad one last time.
Depart Fes and go to Ifrane, which is famed for its alpine-style architecture and milder climate. Visit the neighboring Cedar Forest to observe Barbary macaques. Continue to Midelt for lunch before arriving in Merzouga via the picturesque Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and Ziz Valley.
Upon arrival, embark on a camel trip over the Sahara dunes, taking in the breathtaking sunset. Set up your luxury desert tent, where you’ll spend the night beneath the stars with traditional Berber food and music.
Enjoy breakfast at the camp after waking up to another breathtaking dawn over the desert. Meet your driver when you arrive back in Merzouga via camel. See the bustling souk in Rissani and then Erfoud’s fossil workshops. Proceed to the Todra Gorges via the Touroug and Tinjdad palm fields.
After lunch, visit this stunning canyon. Make your way to the Dades Valley, stopping along the way at picturesque vistas and the “monkey fingers” rock formation. Spend the night at the Dades Valley.
Visit Kalaa Magouna to see the famous Rose Valley. People know it for its rose-flavored goods. Travel to Ouarzazate via the Skoura palm groves. Visit the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. It’s a famous film site and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Proceed to Marrakech by crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains. Then we dropped you at the accommodation.
