Itinerary of 6 days tour from fes to Marrakech

On this 6-day trip from fez to Marrakech via Merzouga Sahara, we will pick you up from your Hotel or Riad. Then, you will enjoy a guided Fes tour with a local, multilingual guide.

First, our Fez trip will include the Andalusia Mosque. They built it at the end of the ninth century. We will also visit the tanners’ quarters, where they dye leather using only natural colors. El-Attarine Madrasa, built in 1325, is the largest religious school in the Medina. It is the Quaraouine Mosque.

Azouia Moulay Idriss is open to non-Muslims. So are the Nejjarine Museum, the Royal Palace, and the Bab Boujloud Gate. We will not complete our journey until we have seen the most important monuments. Finally, we will drop you off at your hotel/riad in Fez for night stay

After breakfast, we’ll leave Fes for Midelt. We’ll drive through Ifrane, a 1930s Moroccan-style resort made by the French. Then we’ll visit Azrou’s cedar woodlands to view monkeys.

We’ll travel from Fes to Midelt. The route has beautiful woodlands, springs, and Berber villages. At the end of our journey, we’ll arrive in Midelt and check into a Hotel/Riad for night stay.

After breakfast, we will continue our 6-day tour. It goes from Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dunes. We will go Midelt and head to the Merzouga Desert. We’ll stop several times to take photos and enjoy the view. We’ll also see a huge palm oasis. We’ll arrive at Merzouga and check into a hotel/riad for dinner and an overnight stay.

The next day, we’ll leave to visit Khamlia village and listen to Gnawa music. The itinerary includes visits to disused mines, Berber nomads, and a palm tree oasis. Return to Merzouga for lunch and relaxation. In the evening, we will embark on a camel trip over the sand dunes. We will spend the night at an outfitted camp with drum music. This Morocco Sahara desert tour is perfect for sunset and sunrise photos. Now, we will discover the secrets of the Sahara and its vast horizons

Wake up early. Walk over the sand dunes to see the sunrise. Then, return to the hotel for a shower, brunch, and relaxation.

Then we take the road to the gorges. In Rissani, I want to see the Sijilmassa ruins and the old Kasbahs. Sijilmassa was a key desert trade hub. The Kasbahs are village fortifications. After the Ziz Valley and gorges, we’ll take a short walk into Todra Gorge to see the rivers and mountains. They’re magnificent.

Finally, we’ll arrive in Ouarzazate. We’ll have dinner and spend the night in a riad or traditional kasbah.

After breakfast, we will go to Ouarzazate. We will see the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas Studios movie studio. From here, we will travel to the Fint Oasis near Ouarzazate.
