Itinerary of 5 days tour from tangier

Today is the first day of your 5-day desert tour itinerary. We will pick you up at your hotel, airport, or port in Tangier. She is also known as “the bride of the north”. The city is in the northwest. There, the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean meet at Cape Spartel. We begin by exploring the beautiful city, Hercules’ Grotto, and Cape Spartel. Free time for lunch. Then we drive inland to Chefchaouen, passing via Tetouan and the Rif Mountains. We will make stops to enjoy the panoramic views. Stay overnight at a hotel in Chefchaouen.
After breakfast, you can wander through the pretty alleyways of Chefchaouen. The 5-day desert tour goes to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. They are well preserved because it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has many beautiful mosaics scattered everywhere. It also has ancient pillars and archways. After exploring the ruins, we drive 30 kilometers to Meknes. It was the Ismaili capital. There, we will see Bab Al-Mansour. We will also see the Sahrij Souani basin. We will also see the Royal Stables, the granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Then we travel to Fes. Overnight stay in a riad.
After breakfast, we drive south through Imouzzer to Ifrane. The city’s cold temperatures, snow, and alpine-style architecture houses are well-known. It’s no surprise that it’s known as Morocco’s Switzerland. Then we head to the cedar forest, where the Barbary macaques live. Feel free to feed them while strolling through the forest. Later, we will continue to Midelt, where we will have some free time for lunch. Then we drive across the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and along the Ziz valley. We stopped for panoramic landscapes. In the afternoon, we arrive at the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Where you embark on camels and cross the sandy desert, stopping on top of a high dune to watch the sunset. Then continue to the camp, which combines traditional nomadic tents with the charm of a hotel. Where you can listen to Berber drum music while dancing around a campfire under the huge open sky of stars. Accommodation is in place.

Get up early to enjoy the beautiful dawn. Free time for breakfast. Then we leave the desert to visit Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani remains an important center of trade in the region. With a big souk that operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Following a tour of the Rissani souk, we travel to Erfoud to visit one of the fossilized marble workshops.

Then we continue our Morocco desert tour to the Todra Gorges. We go through the Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves. The path of the Todra River has cut a spectacular canyon through the mountains. This canyon, with its steep red cliff sides, is suitable for rock climbing. Feel free to roam through the gorges and enjoy the scenery. Free time for lunch at a restaurant. Then we will go to the Dades Valley via Boumalne Dades. Inescapable breaks include the “monkey fingers” rock form. They also include a vantage point on a mountain overlooking the Dades Valley. Dinner and stay at a Hotel / Riad.

After breakfast, we travel to Kalaa Magouna to view the Rose Valley. Every year in May, the residents hold a Rose Festival. They sell their rose products there. These products include perfumes, rose water, oil, and cosmetics. We then drive through Skoura’s palm orchards to see the Kasbah of Amredhyle. Then we reach Ouarzazate. We’ll visit the studios where they made great films and the Taourirt Kasbah. Then, we leave to visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A fortified settlement designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Kasbah has appeared in various movies, such as Gladiator, Alexander, and The Mummy. Also, there are television shows such as Game of Thrones.

Following that, we visit the Telouet Kasbah. Then we travel to Marrakesh over the Tizi-N-Tichka Pass and the High Atlas Mountains. We will make stops for lunch and to take photographs of interesting sights. Finally, we will drop you off at your Riad in Marrakech. This marks the end of the tour.
