Our 7-day Morocco itinerary tour from Agadir departs from your hotel. We’ll first go to Sidi Kaouki for lunch and a rest. Then, we’ll continue to Essaouira Mogador. There, you’ll have dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we will transport you to Marrakech to explore its highlights. The journey from Essaouira will take about 3 hours. On arrival in Marrakech, we will meet our local guide. They will tour us around the city’s ancient sights. These include the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Majorelle Garden, and the old Medina. At 5 p.m., our tour guide will stop and bring you to your hotel.

The third day of your week morocco itinerary begins with a timely 8:00 AM hotel/riad pickup in Marrakech. Leaving Marrakech, your journey will take you southeast. You’ll cross the stunning High Atlas Mountains. They offer views of traditional Berber villages. We stop at lovely spots along the way to take great photos.

Lunch is served in the beautiful village of Aït Ben Haddou. You will also visit the old, iconic Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah. Since 1987, this “fortified village” has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has also been the backdrop for popular films like Lawrence of Arabia, Babel, and Gladiator.

A short stop in Ouarzazate lets you visit Africa’s largest film studio. An interior tour is optional. The tour continues through Boumalne, including a drive through the Valley of Roses. It’s a charming route. You may explore the “monkey fingers,” impressive rock formations, in Dades Valley. Then, return to your accommodation or explore them tomorrow.

In the morning you will enjoy a great breakfast following your perfect one week from agadir. Then, we will travel to Tinghir. There, we will stop at a viewpoint overlooking a green oasis with palm trees and historic kasbahs. You can explore the stunning Todgha Canyon. The twisting Todgha River carved it, and it is 300 meters deep.

While traveling to the Merzouga desert, your guide will suggest stopping by a Berber shop. You can try on traditional Berber clothing and take great photos. Please note that its not obligatory to buy them its only to take some pictures, should you choose to do so. Feel free to tell your guide that you are not interested in this stop, and they will skip it.

Upon arrival at Merzouga, a 4×4 will take your luggage to the desert camp. Then, you can enjoy a camel ride. You will see a stunning sight as the sun sets over the Erg Chebbi dunes. It will cast beautiful hues of orange and red. Enjoy a unique evening in the Sahara Desert. Experience the local way of life, with stories, drumming, and stargazing.

It is recommended that you get up early today to see the peaceful sunrise from your camp. After a delicious breakfast, we’ll pick you up in a 4×4 vehicle to begin our Sahara exploration:

Drive to where the nomads are settling. They will warmly welcome you to one of their tents for tea. It is a fantastic opportunity to learn how they live in a difficult environment disconnected from civilization.

Explore a mysterious abandoned community in the midst of nowhere! The town is home to the Galena mines. You’ll get to see them, too. Drive to another town, Khamlia, where people will perform Gnaoua music. Their origins are in southern African countries such as Sudan. You can also enjoy lunch at a neighborhood restaurant. After lunch, we will drive to your riad. Where you spend your second night in the desert.

An early morning today is greeted with another lovely sunrise from your riad’s terrace. Then, we begin our journey. We will begin by visiting a typical souk in Rissani, the historic city. Then travel to Ouarzazate via the gorgeous Draa Valley, stopping in Agdez to enjoy the valley landscapes. Arrive at your riad in Ouarzazate in the late afternoon. for an overnight stay.

Our 7-day itinerary from Agadir to Merzouga includes Taroudant and Tazenakht. Taroudant is notable for its red-brown crenelated walls. It is sometimes called “Marrakech’s grandma” or “Marrakech’s elder brother.” But it is only a half-cousin. Some of the attributes of its better-known neighbor across the Tazenakht test. Much of the town is northwest of the route, but the pass and lunch in Tazenakht. On Fridays, you will visit the market and carpet shops. Then return to Agadir late in the afternoon, and your Morocco itinerary for 7 days from Agadir will end here.
