Arrival in Tangier, help from our team at the airport or port of tangier, and a ride to Chefchaouen. Check-in and free time to discover the city on your own. Accommodation in Chefchaouen.
After breakfast, we’ll head to our first stop. In Chefchaouen (also known as “The Blue City”), we will have free time to explore the city at our leisure. Explore its white-and-blue streets. The town has wise, friendly, respectful people. It offers breathtaking views, local crafts, and a sense of peace. In the afternoon, we will travel to Fez.
We will pick you up from your Fes lodging after breakfast to explore the city. The city is Morocco’s cultural and religious center. It is one of its imperial cities. We begin our day by visiting the Royal Palace Gate. Then, there’s the medieval Medina. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is well-preserved. The Blue Gate, also known as Bab Boujloud, marks the entrance to the old Medina.
You will enter the Medina with a local guide. You will also visit four sites: the Medrasa Bouanania, Najjarine Fountain, Tanneries, and the Quaraouin Mosque and University, the oldest university. Following that, we leave the Medina to explore the Jewish district known as “the Mellah.” Then we drive to a historic fortress with magnificent views of the Medina and Fes. Then return to your riad.
After breakfast, Morocco tour continues south via Imouzzer. To see Ifrane. Its cold temperatures, snow, and alpine-style houses are well-known. It’s no surprise that it’s known as Morocco’s Switzerland. Then we head to the cedar forest, where the Barbary macaques live. Feel free to feed them while strolling through the forest. Later, we will continue to Midelt, where we will have some free time for lunch. Then we drive across the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and the Ziz valley. We stop for panoramic views.
In the afternoon, we arrive at the Sahara Desert of Merzouga. Where you swap to camels and cross the sandy desert, stopping on top of a high dune to watch the sunset. Then proceed to the camp. It combines nomadic tents with a hotel’s elegance. Where you can listen to Berber drum music while dancing around a campfire under the huge open sky of stars. Accommodation is in place.
After breakfast, we plan to spend the day exploring the Merzouga region. The area has many magnificent sights. They include sand dunes, wild lakes, mines, fossil sites, and a fabulous oasis.Which are perfect locations for a variety of outdoor sports. We begin our excursion in Merzouga by driving off-road to see an ancient eyeliner mine. Then we pay the nomads a visit in their hand-woven tent. And learn about their way of life while drinking Berber tea.
Then, we will go to Khamlia village to watch Gnaoua music and dance. Its residents are from sub-Saharan African nations such as Mali, Sudan, and Niger. There is free time for lunch at a restaurant. Following that, we take a stroll around the palm tree grove. Drive a few kilometers to visit Merzouga’s wild lake, famous for its flamingos. Finally, we return to Merzouga. Dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.
As the sun rises,you will enjoy a breakfast that unfolds at a relaxed pace. Our day will continue to Rissani, once Tafilalet’s capital. This trading hub boasts a lively souk, active three times weekly. We explore its vibrant stalls, immersing ourselves in local culture. Next, we journey to Erfoud. There, skilled artisans revive fossilized quartz. Their workshop showcases intricate creations, each piece a testament to ancient beauty transformed.
Then we travel via Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves to get to the Todra Gorges. The course of the Todra River has cut a spectacular canyon through the mountains. This canyon, with its steep red cliff sides, is suitable for rock climbing. Feel free to roam through the gorges and enjoy the scenery. There is free time for lunch at a restaurant.
Then we head to the Dades Valley via Boumalne Dades. The natural stops are a rock formation called the “monkey fingers.” Also, there is a viewpoint on a mountain overlooking the Dades Valley. Dinner and stay at the Hotel/Riad.
Our Sahara adventure unfolds from Tangier to Kalaa Magouna’s Rose Valley. In May, locals celebrate with a fragrant festival, showcasing perfumes and cosmetics. Skoura’s lush palm orchards lead to the ancient Kasbah of Amredhyle. Ouarzazate awaits, offering movie studio tours and the majestic Taourirt Kasbah. This 12-day trip through Morocco’s varied landscapes will amaze you. It promises unforgettable sights at every turn.
We then leave to visit the famed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A fortified settlement designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Kasbah has appeared in various movies, such as Gladiator, Alexander, and The Mummy. Besides, there are television shows such as Game of Thrones. Following that, we visit the Telouet Kasbah. Then we travel to Marrakesh over the Tizi-N-Tichka Pass and the High Atlas Mountains. We will make stops for lunch and to take photographs at noteworthy locations. Finally, we will drop you off at your Riad in Marrakech.
On the eighth day of your 12-day tour from Tangier to Marrakech, you will visit the Red City. After breakfast at the hotel, spend the day seeing Marrakech, the “Pearl of the South,” with your local guide.
As one of the Kingdom’s capitals, the city has many museums and historical sites. They date from the reigns of three Moroccan sultans.
You can visit the city’s top attractions. These include the iconic Jemaa el-Fna Square and the Koutoubia Mosque. You can also explore the souks, public squares, and museums. There is little doubt that Jemaa el-Fna is a magical and fascinating location. Lost travelers were a common sight. Jemaa el-Fna Square is accessible from any passageway in the Medina. The square is quite full, which may be overwhelming to new travelers.
But, given how gorgeous the place is, staying there for only a short time is surely tough. UNESCO classified the square as a World Heritage Site. You will also see local sights, like Gueliz, the Menara Gardens, and the Majorelle Museum. Explore the Medina. Bargain for treasures. Admire the colorful architecture and palm-lined parks.
You can find almost everything here. This includes clothing, ceramics, jewelry, and Marrakech gifts for your loved ones. You will discover Marrakech’s richness. It lies in the coexistence of tradition and modernity in Morocco.
This is a paradise for shoppers. This city is full of hidden gems, and most of all, it’s a foodie’s dream! Wander the maze of souks all day in search of treasures. Then, enjoy tagine and mint tea on a rooftop terrace. Then, back to the riad for an overnight stay.
On day 9, you will start a day trip from Marrakech to the lush Ourika Valley. You’ll pass through scenic Berber villages and green hillsides. Visit the Setti Fatma waterfalls.
Hike a bit and swim in the natural pools. Enjoy the serene mountain landscapes. Then, return to Marrakech by 5:00 PM for an overnight stay. Don’t forget your camera to capture the beautiful scenery along the way!
After breakfast, you’ll start your day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira at 8 AM. In Essaouira, you will visit the harbor. It has Portuguese fortifications and medieval cannons. Explore the Medina, La Scala, and Bab Laalouj gate. Browse art shops and craft stores, then enjoy a seafood lunch. Afterward, visit a historic Kasbah and, if you wish, stroll along Mogador’s beach. We will then transfer you back to Marrakech for an overnight stay.
Begin with a hotel pickup and travel from Marrakech to the Agafay Desert. Visit the Argan Oil Women’s Cooperative to see their traditional skills. Afterward, take a relaxing camel ride through the dunes after sunset. Then, change to a quad bike for a thrilling trip through the desert. End the night with a meal under the stars, live music, and Berber entertainment. Return to Marrakech and get dropped off at your accommodation.

For most travelers, 2 to 3 days in Tangier is enough to explore the city’s key attractions. This allows you to visit the Kasbah, explore the Medina, enjoy the beautiful views from the Cape Spartel, and take a day trip to the Caves of Hercules. If you have more time, you can also relax at the beach or visit nearby destinations like Asilah.
