We start our Morocco itinerary 5 days by picking you up from the airport, or your hotel in Casablanca. Many people consider Casablanca to be Morocco's economic center and largest city. First, we will visit Morocco's best mosque. It is the Hassan II mosque. It is on the city's west coast. Perched on a promontory, it overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. You will have Free time for lunch. Then we explore the city and go to the magnificent Cornish of Casablanca. Finally, an overnight stay at a hotel.
After breakfast, leave Casablanca to visit the ancient Roman remnants of Volubilis. It is well protected because UNESCO designated it a World Heritage Site. There are some magnificent mosaics spread around, along with old pillars and archways. After exploring the remains, we drive 30 kilometers to Meknes. It is the Ismaili capital and one of the Imperial Cities. We visit Bab Al-Mansour, the Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal Stables, and the Granary. And the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Then we travel to Fes. Overnight stay at a Riad.
After breakfast, we drive south through Imouzzer to reach Ifrane. The city is well-known for its cold temperatures, snow, and alpine-style architecture houses. It's no surprise that it's known as Morocco's Switzerland. Following that, we head to the cedar forest, where the Barbary macaques live. Feel free to feed them while walking across the forest. Following that, we will continue to Midelt, where we will have some free time for lunch. Then we drive to Merzouga via the Tizi-n-Tilghmt Pass and the Ziz Valley. Includes stops for panoramic views. Following that, we travel to the Sahara desert tour of Merzouga in the afternoon. Where you transfer to camels to cross the sandy desert. You will halt on top of the highest dune to view the sunset. Finally, you will travel to the desert camp. This is a combination of traditional nomad tents with hotel-style beauty. Then we leave the desert to discover Tafilalet's old capital, Rissani. Rissani remains a vital economic center in the region. After a tour around the Rissani souk, we go on to Erfoud. There, we will visit a fossilized marble workshop. We next drive via Touroug and Tinjdad palm fields to reach the Todra Gorges. The Todra River created a stunning canyon. It has red cliffs. These gorges are ideal for rock climbing. Feel free to explore the gorges and enjoy the sights. Free time for lunch at a restaurant. Then we head to the Dades Valley, passing via Boumalne Dades. UNESCO classified this walled village as a World Heritage Site. The Kasbah has appeared in several films, including Gladiator, Alexander, and The Mummy. Also, TV series like Game of Thrones. Then we travel to Marrakech, going via the Tizi-N-Tichka Pass and the High Atlas mountains. Stops will be made for lunch and to take photographs at interesting sites. Finally, we arrive in Marrakech and deliver you to either the airport or your hotel. The five-day Morocco vacation has come to an end.
