Day 1: Agadir – Marrakech tour with local guide:
We will pick you up from your hotel or the airport in Agadir. Then, we will begin our 6-day journey from Agadir to Fes. We will travel to Marrakech via the Agadir-Marrakech Highway. After a three-hour trip through the High Atlas and Soss Berber areas, with some rest stops.
After meeting our local tour guide, we will arrive in Marrakech. Then, we will begin a sightseeing tour in the Medina. You will start by visiting Marrakech’s ancient landmarks. These include the renowned Bahia and Badi Palaces. Then, walk through the gardens of the Koutoubia Mosque. Finally, enjoy free time in the famous Jamaa El Fna Square.
Day 2: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley:
Today, we will leave Marrakech for Dades Valley. We will pass through the Tizi N Tichka pass (2260m) in the High Atlas Mountains on our way to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its beautiful, fortified kasbahs. Gladiator, Indiana Jones, and Game of Thrones were all filmed at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah.
Following lunch, we will proceed to Dades Valley via Ouarzazate and Roses Valley. We’ll visit magnificent rock formations (known as monkey fingers) and fortified Kasbahs. In a hotel for the night.
Day 3 : Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erg Chebbi Desert:
After breakfast at your Dades Valley hotel, we will drive to the Todra Gorges. There, you can walk through the gorges to start our tour. After a break to see the vast cliffs, we continued to Erfoud. It is famous for its fossils and date market.
Arrive at the Erg Chebbi desert following a brief stopover. We’ll ride camels across the land, with the colorful dunes behind us. The sun will be setting on the horizon. We will reach our camp in the Sahara desert before midnight. After some time to enjoy the sand dunes and views, take stunning photos. Then, get ready for a typical Moroccan supper by the bonfire, under the stars.
Day 4: Erg Chebbi Desert Tour
After breakfast, you’ll ride camels to meet your driver. Then, you’ll begin a trip to the most beautiful part of the Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert. This desert trip will explore the Erg Chebbi area. It includes visits to small communities, like Khamlia. It’s a black community known for its Gnawa music. Following that, you will shop like a local in Rissani’s souk. You’ll take a lunch break and then drive back to your hotel to relax. The afternoon is yours to spend as you wish.
Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Ziz valley – Ifrane – Fes:
After breakfast, we leave the desert to explore Rissani. It is the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani is a key trading center, with a busy souk on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. After a tour of the Rissani souk, we go to Erfoud. There, we visit a fossilized marble workshop.
Following that, we travel across the Ziz River, stopping for panoramic views of the Ziz Valley. Then we drive through the cedar forest and Ifrane to get to Fes. Finally, we will drop you off at the airport or your accommodation.
Day 6: guided tour sightseeing Fes:
After breakfast, we will planne to set aside the entire day to tour Fes’s highlights with a local guide. The city, an imperial one, is Morocco’s cultural and religious center.
