The 7 days tour from Fes begins with an early pickup from the airport or your hotel in Fes. Then we leave to explore Meknes, the Ismaili capital and one of the royal cities. We will visit Bab Al-Mansour. We will also see the Sahrij Souani basin. We will see the Royal Stables, the Granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Free time for lunch.
Next, we drive 30 kilometers from Meknes to the old Roman ruins of Volubilis. It is well protected because UNESCO designated it a World Heritage Site. There are many exquisite mosaics here. There are also old pillars and archways. After exploring the ruins, we drive north through Ouazzane. We go to Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. Also known as the Blue City. The city's fame comes from its blue-painted houses and paths. Stay overnight in a hotel.
After breakfast, feel free to explore the Blue City. Then we travel to Rabat over the Rif Mountains. Rabat is one of Morocco's imperial cities and the current capital. Located on the Atlantic coast of northwest Morocco. You will explore the city's highlights. Among these are the Hassan Tower, Mohammed V's Mausoleum, and the Oudaya Kasbah. Stay overnight in a hotel.
After breakfast, we leave Rabat and drive down the coast to Casablanca. The city serves as Morocco's economic center and largest city. Firstly, we will visit the Hassan II Mosque, the continent's second-largest mosque. Then we go to the Casablanca Cornish. Finally, we continue inland to Marrakech, often known as the Red City and one of the imperial cities. You will have the chance to explore the famous Jemaa El-Fna square. Overnight stay at a hotel or Riad.
After a hearty breakfast, we will see the highlights of Marrakech with a native guide. The excursion includes the Bahia Palace. It also includes the Saadian Tombs and the Ben Youssef Quranic Mosque. After that, we will visit Todra Gorges. There, the Todra River has cut a tall red canyon through the highlands. Feel free to walk through the gorges and enjoy the scenery.
Then we go through Touroug, Tinjdad, and Erfoud town. Following that, we arrive at the Sahara desert of Merzouga. To cross the sandy desert, you'll need to ride camels. After that, we will make a stop for you on top of a high dune to watch the sunset. Then continue to the campsite. Where you can listen to Berber drum music while dancing around a campfire under a starry night sky. Dinner and stay at the desert camp.
The end of the 7-day tour from Fes. You get up early to enjoy the amazing dawn in the middle of the erg chebbi dunes. You will have free time for breakfast. Then, you will ride camels back to Merzouga, where the driver awaits. We will leave the desert to discover Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani is a major trading center in the region. It has a vibrant souk on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. After a tour around the Rissani souk, we go to Erfoud to visit a fossilized marble workshop.
Then, we travel down the Ziz River, stopping for a panoramic view of the Ziz Valley. In Midelt, you have free time for lunch. Then we head to the cedar forest, where the Barbary Macaques live. Feel free to feed them while walking through the forest. After that, we visit Ifrane. It's known for its cold temperatures, snow, and alpine-style houses.
