Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Cedars forest- Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga Sahara ( camel trekking )
The 3 days tour from Fes to Marrakech will start with an early pick-up from the airport or your hotel in Fes. Then we drive south through Imouzzer to Ifrane. Which is famous for its cold temperatures, snow, and alpine-style homes. It’s no surprise that it’s known as Morocco’s Switzerland.
Then we head to the cedar forest, where Barbary Macaques live. Feel free to feed them while walking through the forest. After that, we will continue our desert tour to Midelt and we will have free time for lunch. Then we drive to the Sahara Desert erg Chebbi dunes. We pass through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt Pass and down the Ziz River.
Then, we arrive at the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Where you will have the opportunity to ride camels to cross the Sahara desert. You will make a stop to admire the amazing sunset from the top of a high dune. Finally, we go to the Sahara desert camp. There, you can listen to Berber music and drums. You can dance around the campfire under the huge open sky of stars. Dinner and stay at the luxury desert camp.
Day 2: Merzouga Sahara – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley:
Wake up early to see the stunning sunrise in the middle of the desert. You have free time for breakfast. Then, you will ride camels back to Merzouga, where the driver awaits. We leave the desert to visit Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani is an important trading center in the region. It has a lively souk on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
After a tour around Rissani Souk, we continue to Erfoud. There, we’ll visit one of the marble workshops with fossilized rocks. We next drive via Touroug and Tinjdad palm fields to reach the Todra Gorges. The Todra River’s path has cut out an amazing canyon through the mountains. It left a steep, red cliff-sided canyon.
These gorges are perfect for rock climbing. Feel free to wander through the gorges and enjoy the views. Free time for lunch at a restaurant. Then we continue to the Dades valley, passing through Boumalne Dades. The natural stop comes at the “monkey fingers” rock form. And on top of a mountain, overlooking the Dades Valley. Finally, food and a night in a hotel.

These include perfumes, rose water, oil, and cosmetics. We then drive across the palm trees of Skoura. Following that, we arrive at Ouarzazate, also known as the Desert Gate. We will go to the studios where they shoot great movies.
Then we leave to visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A fortified settlement designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Kasbah has appeared in movies like Gladiator, Alexander, & The Mummy. It’s also been in TV series like Game of Thrones. Next, we travel to Marrakech.
