Itinerary of 3 days Tour from Errachidia

On the first day of your three-day desert journey to Fes, we pick you up from the moulay ali cherif airport in errachidia. Then, drive south to the Sahara Desert. Dinner and stay at Merzouga.

After breakfast, we plan to spend the day exploring the Merzouga region. The area has many magnificent sights. They include sand dunes, wild lakes, mines, fossil sites, and a fabulous oasis. Which are perfect locations for a variety of outdoor sports.

We begin our excursion in Merzouga by driving off-road to see an ancient eyeliner mine. Then we pay the nomads a visit in their hand-woven tent. We drink Berber tea and learn about their way of life. Our next stop is Khamlia village, where you may enjoy Gnaoua music and dance performances. Its residents are from sub-Saharan African nations such as Mali, Sudan, and Niger. There is free time for lunch at a restaurant. Following that, we take a stroll around the palm tree grove. Drive a few kilometers to visit the wild lake of Merzouga, commonly referred to as Flamingo Lake.

In the afternoon, you swap onto camels. You travel the sandy desert, stopping at a high dune to see the sunset before continuing to the luxury camp. You can listen to Berber drum music while dancing around the campfire under the huge open sky of stars. Dinner and an overnight stay at the campsite.

Today, early in the morning, we recommend getting up to see the amazing sunrise. After a delicious breakfast, we will depart the camp in a 4×4 car to visit Merzouga on our way. From there, our trip will return us to the bustling city of Marrakech, with various stops along the way, including free time for lunch.One notable stop is the panoramic views of the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. This well-preserved village is also a popular filming location, with many films and TV shows, including Kingdom of Heaven, Prince of Persia, and Game of Thrones, featuring it as a backdrop. We will arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon and drop you off at your riad, marking the end of your 2 day desert tour from Marrakech.
