Today, we will pick you up at your riad/hotel in Rabat. We will begin our 5-day desert trip from Rabat to Marrakech, via Meknes to Fes. Rabat is one of Morocco’s four imperial cities, alongside Fes, Meknes, and Marrakech.

Meknes is the sixth largest city in Morocco by population. It was founded as a military city in the 11th century and later became Morocco’s capital under Sultan Moulay Ismaïl.

Volubilis is a Berber-Roman city near Meknes with partially uncovered ruins. Before exploring Volubilis, we will have lunch. After the visit, we’ll continue our journey to Fes. Overnight stay in a riad or hotel in the medina of Fes.

Day 2: Explore Fes – Drive to Midelt

After breakfast in your riad/hotel, your tour continues with a guided visit of Fes. Visit the King’s Palace, Jewish Quarter, and enjoy a panoramic view of the city.

Visit the artisan workshops, including the famous Chouara tanneries, and learn about Fes's ancient university. After lunch, drive to Midelt via the Middle Atlas, stopping in Ifrane and continuing through scenic forests. Overnight in a riad or hotel.
