The 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga begins in Marrakech at a specific point in the city. we will cross the Tizi-n-Tichka pass and explore the amazing High Atlas mountains.
The pass is well-known and the highest major mountain pass in North Africa. It is between Marrakech and Warzazate. In the afternoon we will visit a well-known KASBAH. UNESCO has listed it as a World Heritage Site.
This renowned KASBAH has a unique location. It has served as the backdrop for many movie scenes. includes the Gladiator, the Mummy, and the Lawrence of Arabia.
After exploring this splendid place, you will take a break for lunch. Then, you will drive to Boumalne Dades. You will spend the night there and have dinner at a Riad.
After breakfast at your Riad on the second day of your program in Marrakech, we will head toward the Merzouga desert. Then, you will proceed to Dades Valley. There, you’ll open your eyes to the new landscape of Dades Gorges.
Then we will drive you to Tinghir, a small city in southeast Morocco. We will also take you to the Todra Gorge. It is a narrow river that is between two High Atlas mountains. You have the freedom to enjoy and embrace the adventure if climbing is something you’d like to do.
After a lunch break in Tinjdad. Then, we will head to the Sahara Desert for an overnight in a luxury desert camp. Around 4:00 pm, upon arriving at the Sahara Desert, your camel guide will be waiting for you to embark on your camel ride. cross the erg Chebbi dunes during your camel ride to our camp where you will enjoy Moroccan dinner.
After a captivating night under the sky and Merzouga dunes, you will open your eyes to a splendid sunrise over the erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast at the camp, you will travel to Rissani, where you will come across a large souk or market.
From there, you will drive across Alnif to Ouarzazate. Finally, you will reach Marrakech, the red city. Your 3-day Marrakech concludes with a drop-off at your riad. The itinerary of your 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga will come to an end at this point.
